Emotional Well-being webinar

Department of Clinical Psychology conducted an interactive webinar on Emotional Well-being. Webinar, held on 5th of June 2021 via online platform, focused mainly for adolescents and young adult group. Close to 90 participants attended the sessions and took part in Q&A (Query session) and reflective exercises. Dr Gayatri Hegde, I/C Head, department of clinical psychology, opened the webinar by addressing the theme, Emotional well-being and its relevance in current times.

Her talk included models and studies drawn from psychology and empirical studies. Following this was a session on understanding and handling negative emotions conducted by Ms R. Harsha Priya. Lastly, Ms. N V Cauvery held a session on enhancing and sustaining positive emotions. After each session one interactive exercise was carried out. In total, four reflective and interactive exercises on emotional well-being, self compassion and gratitude were conducted by Ms Vaishnavi Kulkarni. Ms Sheetal N D, Ms Sushma C and Ms Swati M N managed the feedback forms and logistics along with corresponding and the advertisement.
